Trash Guys Won’t Take It? We Will!
We remove items that municipal haulers don't.
Depending on your municipality, there may be restrictions on what items you can place at the curb and how many. If the trash guys don't take it, give us a call. While we can't offer free junk removal, our pricing is very affordable.
Tip: If you only have one or two large items, check with your municipality first. They may allow you to purchase a tag or sticker for oversized items that will be picked up with your weekly trash. Typically, these tags are only a few dollars.

When you call us, we'll schedule a time that's convenient for you. We do our best to accommodate every customer's schedule. If you need your stuff gone ASAP, just let us know, and we'll prioritize your pickup as best we can.
We're even open on some holidays–which is great for customers who need a pickup right away, no matter what day it is.

In some cases, we can schedule pickups within just a few days for customers who need to get rid of items as quickly as possible. This is often due to time-sensitive situations, such as moving out of a home or apartment, expecting a delivery of new furniture, a house cleanout after the death of a loved one, or other circumstances.
Please note that while we strive to accommodate all pickup requests, availability will depend on our current schedule of bookings. We usually need about a week or so before we can schedule your pickup. But we will do our best to work with you!

Where We Haul Your Items
Everything we haul is properly disposed of at a local waste management facility or recycling center. Here in Central PA, these drop-offs typically occur at one of the following facilities:
Please note that we do NOT sell any of the furniture or items we remove. We only dispose of them. Our customers are those who need to throw away items but do not have the time or resources to do it on their own.
At each of the waste facilities above, we pay dumping fees with each load we drop off. These charges are based on the size, weight, and type of items being dumped, and they factor somewhat into the prices we charge.
Responsible Dumping
By taking your furniture to a local waste authority, you can have peace of mind knowing that your items were responsibly disposed of.
This is very important to us at Jim's Hauling. Proper dumping is critical to keeping our communities and natural environments clean, safe, and healthy!
In fact, we provide dump receipts to our customers to show where their items were disposed of. This serves a few different important purposes.
First, dump receipts provide customers with proof that their items were responsibly dumped at a local waste facility. Second, they provide peace of mind that items were not illegally dumped.
Negligent, amateur haulers sometimes dump items illegally (i.e., in the woods, in a dumpster, etc.) in an attempt to avoid paying fees to waste facilities. This is unethical, and it can get YOU, the customer, into trouble if the illegal dumping is reported to authorities. As the owner of the items, you could be fined.
This is why we properly dispose of every load, large or small, and provide dump receipts to prove it.
